Regroup In The Desert is a one-day free open house in Tempe, Arizona, showing off a unique mix of dream bikes and gear that you seldom get to see in one place. And even one new Italian bike will make its debut at the mini bike show.

Combination custom bike studio and coffee shop Regroup calls it a “refreshingly different… one-day celebration of bikes, community, and culture“. Plus, if the Tempe/Phoenix area is not too far from you, Regroup in the Desert is also just a good chance to ogle some killer bikes you might not often get a chance to see in person, to chat with some key minds behind each brand, and to even ride with them. Add in that there are friendly challenges to compete in, tasty food, and live music to sweeten the deal.

So what bikes and brands will you find camped out in the Arizona desert next weekend?

Conceived as part bike shop open house and part mini custom bike show, Tempe, AZ’s Regroup brings together its favorite bike brands to show off what they can build for you. On hand will be beautiful bikes from Bastion, Factor, Mosaic, Open, Parlee, Pegoretti, Sarto, 3T & Time, including a number of bikes available for test rides.

Beyond the bikes themselves, brand representatives and just cool gear from CeramicSpeed, MAAP, Pirelli, Silca, SRAM & Quoc will also be on hand to join the festivities, rides, and nerdy bike discussions.

Custom & unique bike highlights

Among the dream builds on show, Regroup says that Enrico Sarto of Sarto bikes will fly over from Italy with an “unseen new release” model, exclusive to the show.

There will also be one of Bastion‘s wild, fully-custom Archetype aero road bikes, combining high-polished boxy 3D-printed titanium lugs smoothly bonded to custom carbon tubes. And one of the brand’s managers flying in from Melbourne, Australia to talk custom bikes.

Mosaic’s founder and head builder Aaron Barcheck will be showing off a couple of their ti & carbon RT-Zeroes, including some “stand-out paint schemes” from their always-impressive in-house Spectrum paintshop.

Regroup in the Desert custom bike show, Parlee Z-Zero GT road bike

Parlee’s CEO who gave us a Factory Tour last summer, will also be there to chat bikes. And to show off their Z-Zero GT, Ouray, and Taos bikes.

Regroup in the Desert custom bike show, Factor ONE aero road bike

Factor will be showing off Regroup’s own custom-painted Factor One aero road bike and a few other models. Plus, they’ll bring a fleet of their new Aluto gravel race bikes for riders to demo.

Time’s CEO will bring a few of their latest bikes which love to show off their unique carbon material craftsmanship, including their new aero road Scylon.

Plus, scope out a custom steel Dario Pegoretti Elio road bike hand-decorated in their unique Ciavete ‘surprise me’ paint job, with custom details inspired by the new bike’s owner’s hometown and the names of his children seamlessly mixed into the artwork.

When, where & how?

Regroup reiterates that their Regroup in the Desert event is “open to the public and free to attend“. The bike show itself kicks off Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 10:00 am outside of their cafe & bike shop and runs through 3:00 pm, just north of the Salt River in Tempe. Early-rising roadies can meet even earlier at the shop at 8 am to head out together on a group road ride.

I’ve always seen the sign for this place on Rural/ Scottsdale road but never seen any action there, that it was closed. I’ll have to take a second look next time I’m around there
