Providing a combination of aero advantage and all-day comfort, Ritchey’s “aero-comfort” Streem handlebar has been a popular choice for years. Today, the brand announced that the alloy versions of the Streem — WCS and Comp — just got a modern refresh, mirroring the updates given to the carbon SuperLogic Streem last year. These include a modernized shape with a refined compact drop, 10° flare, aero tops, and gentle backsweep.

Perhaps more importantly, however, Ritchey has managed to actually lower its price compared to its predecessor. In an industry where prices rarely go down, that’s certainly a refreshing thing to hear.

The Streem has always been for riders who want it all: the speed of an aero bar and plenty of proper comfort to stay out there for hours. This update delivers the shape for how people ride now, and we found a way to bring the price down at the same time. That’s not a trade-off we get to offer very often.”

Ritchey Streem Details

The Streem handlebar comes in two alloy versions, which Ritchey refers to as WCS and Comp. The WCS is a more premium offering made with triple-butted 6066 alloy, featuring fully internal cable routing, a lighter weight, and a higher price tag. The Comp version is more straightforward and budget-friendly, with a double-butted 6061 alloy construction.

Despite their differences in materials and price, the WCS and Comp versions of the Streem share identical dimensions and sizing options. This includes the refreshed shape with a modern 10° flare, compact drop, 80mm reach, and aero tops with a gentle 5° backsweep.
