Not all that long ago, roll: bicycle company introduced their 1:Bike program. What started as a way for customers of the Columbus, OH based roll: bike shop to get their own semi-custom ride for a small amount of money, has grown in a full fledged bicycle brand with a number of options.

The most recent addition to the line up is their new 1:Step-Thru frame. Built with the same attention to performance and aesthetic details as the standard frame, the Step-Thru is now an option on all three of their builds – the A:1 Adventure, C:1 City, and S1: Sport. Built with 6061 triple butted aluminum tubing, the frame still features full rack and and fender mounts, and is available in three colors including the all new British Racing Green.

Yet another option that’s been added to the line up, roll: now offers a CR:1 Cafe Racer Edition for lovers of big tires and clean looks. The Charcoal Black Out frame is stuffed with 27.5″ Moto wheels running WTB 27.5 x 1.95″ Thickslicks for an aggressive stance and smooth ride.

Add in Brooks Cambium grips and saddle, SRAM level hydraulic brakes, a SRAM Via Centro 1×10 group, and a CR:1 flask and 3 month coffee club membership to Staufs Coffee Roasters, and you’ll be off to the races. Or at least to work. Due to the higher end spec, the CR:1 runs a bit more than the rest of the roll: bike line at $1,099, and is available in three sizes.

As for the rest of their bikes, if you order any Step-Thru or British Racing Green model before December 15th, they’re taking $100 off the price with the code ‘PRE100’ at checkout.

$1099 for a hydro-disc bike with 1×10 is not a bad value, and it’s a nice looking bike.
