Lately, Schwalbe’s mountain bike line has been getting all the attention, what with headline grabbing products like a dual-core enduro tire that’s virtually unflattable and an extremely light (and extremely wide!) 4.8 fat bike tire. But their road side’s been busy, too, with a few updates to two of their more popular tires.

Above, the One gets a few new colors on the V-Guard models for 2015. The V-Guard is their standard folding clincher and has a bit of added puncture protection,. It’ll now come in red, blue, white and dark silver (aka gray) options along with standard black. The colors are only available on the 700x23c size, and not on the rather remarkable One tubeless model.

The colors also expand their reach on the Durano training tire, too, which sees a complete overhaul for the new year…

The Durano is completely revamped for 2015. It still has the dual compound, but has a more dynamic tread pattern and gains colors in both 23c and 25c widths. The Durano DD (Double Defense) gets a beefier Snakeskin sidewall protection alongside the additional RaceGuard puncture protection under the tread. These are the tires they have their sponsored pros training on year ’round.

Complete specs and claimed weights are on their website.

Try latest Durano Plus on Fulcrum racing Quattro. It would be a good work out for you hand 😉

John in europe, at least in france everyone ride 23mm (except me and a few riders that like exotic stuff).

Durano is a sick tire. Very low flat rate, good grip, almost infinite mileage.

I have run Duranos for years and now I am running the New Threads in a 28 and have been ripping single track on them here and there 🙂 brought a whole new dynamic to my road bike.
