Event Scotland is reportedly preparing a proposal to grab the opening time trial of the 2017 Tour de France.
Looking to host the event in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, Event Scotland’s Paul Bush says the event would cost approximately £5 million, it would likely inject around £100 million back into the economy.
