DZR-shift-flat-

Now that Spring is here it’s time to update your foot wear… especially those clapped out Vans you should have tossed last Spring. Check out DZR’s new Shift shoes as well as a limited road shoe from Suplest. And what are new shoes without some fresh socks to complement them? Sockguy has several new conservative and wacky styles in the collection to match your needs…

DZR’s Shift shoes have the look with a simple style and a lot of fine details. They stiffened the midsole up for better power transfer while pedaling and have a sole that is designed with a lower mid section for better pedal placement. Using a 12oz canvas, the $79 Shift shoes are durable and sport a chain-link eyelet and a reflective heel cup.

Suplest Seabase comb

Suplest announced they are releasing a very limited number of Seabase edition shoes. With the assistance of sponsored rider and brand ambassador, Patrick Seabase, Suplest is offering only 100 of these clean & simple high performing shoes in white to a lucky few. Keep an eye on their site for updates on when these become available.

Sockguy

Sockguy never disappoints with fresh and fun styles each year. Whether you love hotdogs, Evil Knievel, or just the good ol’ US of A, Sockguy has several new styles available in several lengths, materials and styles.

I love Sock Guy socks for after I’m done biking to work or home. They have no new tech and don’t whick very well. I wish they did, I’d have 30 pairs instead of 5-6

I’m really confused. I don’t get where I’m supposed to put my cleats on those DZR shoes.

DZR making a non-cycling shoe is like Hush Puppies making an SPD shoe.

Maybe the DZR shoe is meant for flat pedals with traction pins, instead of SPD ones? The sole design reminds me of Five Ten’s Stealth sole material and pattern, and most of their stuff is made for flat pedals with pins. I have no idea if they use the same sticky rubber though.

Um…Evel Knievel wasn’t Evil. Check the spelling of his first name.

I’m actually not a big fan of Sockguy socks, but I can’t pass up on hotdog or Evel socks!
