The last time Silca ran a poster, it sold out super quick. So, this time, they printed more…but there’s still only 100 each of these four killer designs. Each one features an original work of art from former pro triathlete Tony DeBoom, who also happens to be the creative director and founder of Endurance Conspiracy (which has some rad cycling-themed T-shirts!).
Celebrating four different iconic racing team cars, each poster is printed with a premium matte finish, then numbered and signed by the artist. Only 100 of each are available. Now, let’s talk socks, then scroll down for full size images and a description of each poster’s vehicle…
The Silca Merino Wool Sock is a different take on winter cycling socks. Designed to fit comfortably in a standard cycling shoe, without changing the way the shoe fits, they should help keep your toes toasty. That comes from adding extra material in the toes for more insulation, but less in the heel.
The extra 2.5mm of felted Merino wool at the toes is offset by a thinner, summer sock QSkin silver-ion antimicrobial material in the heel. So, inside your shoe, it fits the same without creating any bunching or tight spots.
Up front, the toe is knit together rather than stitched, so it’s essentially seamless. They’re made in the same Italian factory as their Aero Socks. Retail is $30 per pair, available in four different strip colors.
Josh is so excited about these socks he made a video about them:
Takeaway: “They’re softer than a box full of kittens.”
The Silca Campy Van, along with all of the other posters, are $45 each plus shipping.
