Lizard Skins’ latest mountain bike grips are the complex shaped Charger Evo, which come in slide-on and lock-on versions, including a slide-on with a short flange. They use a single compound material with tons of angled texture to provide good grip, a little cushioning, but remain thin enough for enhanced bar feel.

Also new are gel-padded versions of their Monitor SL full finger gloves. They come in several colors and use the same perforated upper, silicone finger grips and AX suede palm, but add bits of gel padding at high pressure areas. Retail is $34.99. Check them out at LizardSkins.com.

ODI Grips was fighting to keep the Sea Otter dust off their new AIRE series of grips, using a damped silicone foam they say is 30% lighter than comparable options. The Vapor uses small textured dots with finger indents and a dual layer construction to improve durability, while the Float grips are your standard round shape with a 31.5mm diameter.

VP Components introduced their new SiMo grips, for Silicone Injection Molding. They say the material offers more friction when wet or dry, a soft touch feel, and they’re very durable.

The lock on model is $40, the slip-on ones are $30, and these winged commuter style grips are $28. More details at VPcomponents.com.

Been anxiously awaiting on version of the Tomac Attack grip from ODI since lock-ons became a thing. Had my hopes up there for a second.
