Seems as though the stage race scene is advancing nicely…just found this link for the inaugural Skins Alpine Epic mountain bike stage race planned for February 2009.  Registration closes January 20, so hurry up and book that round-the-world airfare while gas prices are at a low…you never know what may happen when a new administration takes over.
Besides, it should be summer-ish weather for them about that time of year…
