Speed Sportz adaptive gps cycling computer mount lets you adjust the display angle and locks your garmin to the mount

Ever tried to get the glare off that computer screen or just set the angle a bit deeper without having your Garmin jut upward like a Fred? SPEED Sportz felt your pain and developed an adaptive mount that lets you set your screen angle independently of the mount’s angle, so you can keep everything lined up and easily visible. Bolt on the included GoPro-style camera mount and you can also set up an action cam or light underneath and keep it aiming in the right direction, too.

That little trick could be enough to set it apart, but they’ve gone a bit further and let you lock your Garmin EDGE or Wahoo ELEMNT into the mount so nobody steals it…

The mounting system is universal between Garmin and Wahoo computers. Just twist the Bayonet bezel a quarter turn, and it’ll fit either device. Once fitted, you can tighten a bolt into the system to secure the computer to the mount, making it both theft-resistant and meeting new UCI rules that say it’s gotta be locked down to be allowed in the peloton. (We’ve inquired about how exactly this system works and will update as we hear back)

The mount is attached to the arm on a swiveling bolt, letting you adjust the screen’s angle independently of the arm. Retail is $59.99 in silver, black or a mixed silver/black combo of pieces, and includes the removable lower camera/light mount.

SMART! when doing standing intervals I am always banging the mount around to get it right for the pitch of the climb and my line of sight. Just when ya think we got it all figured out haha

Appears to only support the smaller units. Their site says only the Garmin 500 series is supported, and the mounting arm does look short.

Which new UCI rule is being referred to? AFAIK the only relevant rule would be the old one about measuring weight of the bike with only permanently attached parts (no water bottles or removable computers). Wahoo is addressing this rule with the bolt-on connection of the Bolt, which I assume is what the UCI mention above is supposed to address.

If Speedsportz is watching this comment section, I would like to ask if they plan on releasing a plastic computer mount section in place of the aluminum one? The angle adjust would be useful to have, but not at the expense of sawing off the Garmin’s mount ears again like the original K-edge would do.

As I always do in comments sections about computer mounts…I’d love one for Lezyne. There are dozens of us!
