Last winter Terske introduced some surprisingly affordable titanium bolt upgrade kits for SRAM Transmission derailleurs, plus Shimano kits, too. Now they’re back with more bling for SRAM. First, there’s new titanium Full Mount Bolts to add a pop of color to that big bolt hanging your derailleur to the frame. Plus, we now also know that these colorful titanium bolt kits fit more than just AXS Transmission derailleurs, and Terske are actively working on tricking out more derailleurs with slick ti bolts.

Plus, buy a big bolt or kit now, and get a Matchmaker bolt kit free!

Terske describes their bolts as “up to 45% lighter and infinitely better looking” than those unexciting steel bolts that came stock on your rear derailleur. And who can argue with adding a little bit of shiny titanium bling to your bike when it only costs twenty to thirty bucks!

That price was our biggest surprise when we saw these Terske Ti Transmission Kits & similar Shimano Derailleur Kits last winter. Aren’t titanium bolts supposed to be expensive? Apparently, not! (Or at least the Lindarets design minds behind GoatLinks, several Wolf Tooth gadgets, and now Terske tools & bolts have figured out some affordable suppliers.)

Anyway, now in addition to all the small bolts, that big Full Mount bolt that hangs your SRAM T-type derailleur directly to your frame gets a Grade Titanium (Ti6Al4V) upgrade, too. And these cost just thirty bucks, on sale now for twenty-five!

SRAM T-type Compatibility

Officially, these fit SRAM XX, X0, GX, Eagle 90, and Force XPLR T-Type derailleurs.

Terske suggests that they likely will work with more direct-mount XPLR derailleurs that they haven’t tested yet, too. There, Terske suggests contacting them if you have a derailleur model not listed on the product pages, and they’ll work out a deal with you to test out and confirm the fit on other SRAM models.

Terske titanium bolt kits – Pricing, options & availability

Both the new Terske titanium Full Mount Bolts and the Transmission Derailleur Kits come in both X & G options, where X fits XX & X0 T-Type while G fits GX, Eagle 90 & Force XPLR T-type. There’s no direct mention of Eagle 70, Red XPLR, or Rival XPLR – all of which share similar bolt layouts as those listed. If you have one of these other T-type derailleurs, get in touch with Terske to see if they have a solution for you.

All of their ti bolts and kits come in 4 standard PVD color options: classic natural titanium gray, stealth black, gold bling, and flashy oil slick rainbow. A new Titanium Full Mount Bolt retails for $30, but is on sale now for just $25. Transmission Titanium Hardware Kits sell for either $20 or $25, depending on whether it’s the 5-bolt G or 7-bolt X kit.

But either of those now, and when you add the SRAM Matchmaker Brake Bolt Kit to your cart, the normally $20 kit will automatically be free. Get the whole SRAM upgrade setup, from just $45 for ten bolts. Maybe throw in a set of four matching ti water bottle bolts for just $14 more. Then, shipping in the US adds just a couple of bucks. My Eagle 90 just got a BikeYoke Shifty v2 cable pulley upgrade last month. Maybe now it’s time to trick it out with some affordable ti bolts, too?

affordable Terske Titanium bolts: new burnt blue

Oh, and Terske also just added a new Burnt Blue color option with hints of the purple & gold of oil-slick. It’s now just available for their low-profile water bottle bolts & Shimano brake lever kits.

My god…stop! Slow shifting….I bet most people wouldn’t/ don’t notice or care about the .001th of a second slower shift time from cables. I’ve been riding mountain bikes starting from the days of 5 speed cassettes and friction shifting. My T-type is better in every way that any other shifting option I’ve ever used.

It feels slow in a stage, but in the real world you can shift whenever you want without letting off the power so it ends up being able to you into the gear you need when you b need it. Way another under load than be shimano
