The Sufferfest has slowly and steadily updated their library of cycling trainer videos, remastering the more popular originals with better graphics, sound and tweaked workouts. Now, they’ve put the modern spin on their original and best selling video, the Downward Spiral.

It’s an hour long set of intervals that gets you in shape to chase down the leaders and sprint for the finish, set to footage of the 2015 Flèche-Wallone and Paris-Roubaix races. More sample footage and workout chart below…

Man, when I first read the headline, I was expecting some NIN, instead I feel like I just visited Florida.

I’ve spent many hours in front of the original Downward Spiral. A bit suspicious that the songs in the trailer and sample immediately sound familiar… Not sure if the soundtrack is new.

@Jeff – having spent plenty of time in Florida, outside of Disney, I had hardy LOL. Spot on.

Hey Tessar – You probably know the DS soundtrack inside out! The new version has new tunes for all the recovery sections — so they’re more in line with the effort/cadence. The intervals all have the classics from the original DS. The playlist is on the right hand side of this page: http://www.thesufferfest.com/training-video/downward-spiral/

Paris Roubaix is like two moths ago! Where is the Giro stage 8 with Iron Maiden Wings of Icarus?
