Trek have added two new color customization options to the Project One ICON premium paint schemes. These are available only for the Trek Emonda, Domane and Madone road bike models purchased through Trek’s Project One custom bike program.

Trek’s mountain bikes are also available to customize in Project One with other ICON paint work plus the Splatter Fade effect.

Seafoam and Psychedelic Marble join Amplified Alchemy, Sweet Gold Leaf, Holographic Diamond Flake, and others in the Project One ICON collection of bespoke, premium paint schemes designed for texture, depth, and mood.

Psychedelic Marble

Psychedelic Marble is a dialed-up version of Project One’s best-selling Molten Marble ICON scheme. It uses flip paint for a kaleidoscopic effect in changing light conditions.

Seafoam

Seafoam is inspired by the color palette of the ocean and is “designed for riders who go against the tide of standard paint schemes”.

It would be nice if they would concentrate on releasing more flexibility to Project One components or putting the new carbon in their XXX wheels rather than just “window dressing” through paint jobs. Frustrating when what you want is the bike spec that makes sense, not a pretty color.

If I could remove their downtube logo, I’d potentially be up for it. Massive branding ruins the paint job.

Trek really does amazing paint, I know a guy with the marbled red paint job on an emonda and it looks the business. Shame all their road bikes outside of the madone look so ungainly once they’re above 54.
