Produced as part of a CSM 3rd year dissertation by The Manimation, this video shows early animation as seen through changing paper cutouts on a bicycle wheel. Because of the frame rates of video capture, it appears similar to stop motion animation that’s only visible because it’s captured on video. IRL, it would just look like an artsy scraper bike.
