Man, it’s stories like these that make me really want to ride bikes in Bentonville, Arkansas. Viral Bikes has made a significant step in establishing itself within its local cycling community by opening its own storefront, located at the Spokeasy in Bentonville, Arkansas, at the famous Airship Coffee Pumphouse.

The Spokeasy used to be a custom wheel-building studio in the basement of the Airship Pumphouse. But, now it has been converted and transformed into the Viral Biukes HQ!
“This is one of the most exciting things to happen for Viral since our founding nine years ago,” says Steve Domahidy, Viral Bikes owner and founder. “This new space allows us to really embed ourselves in the local community of Bentonville, AR. We plan on doing regular group rides and activations with Airship out of this space, as well as having demo bikes at the ready for customers to ride and try.” He continues, “It’s a dream come true for us,” Domahidy continues, “to partner with Airship in a space that is both perfect for us and perfect for them“.

According to the press release, the new Viral Bikes location is going to act as a bike-building studio for Viral. But, will also be the space for R&D, on top of being a customer-facing location. The spot is located directly on the Bentonville OZ Trails mountain bike trail system.
The press release also states that the Slaughter Pen trails “literally leave directly from the Viral Bikes main door” and connect to Belle Vista, Coler, and other MTB trail systems. See? That sounds so fun… we should all go.
Grand Opening
The Grand opening for the new Viral Bikes HQ is on Sunday, August 10th. The festivities will start with a no-drop “Rule of Three” style ride that leaves at 8:00 am from behind the Airship Pumphouse. Viral suggests that you bring a bike that is ready to tackle road, gravel, and singletrack “at a fun, social pace”.

After the ride, participants can expect some tomfoolery that will include cider drinks and tacos by Biju Thomas, chef to the US National team, author of the Feedzone cookbooks, co-founder of Skratchlabs, and the host of the TV show, Road Less Eaten.
Sounds amazeballs.
