The all-new Vittoria Terreno PRO gravel tire range is company’s first major product launch in a decade, and they make some bold claims. The new tires deliver measurable improvements over the existing Terreno Endurance line, specifically:

  • 5% faster construction
  • 19% increased grip
  • 18% enhanced puncture resistance

Pidcock approved.

The new PRO range incorporates 92% renewable and recycled materials, including organic cotton casings blended with nylon from recycled fishing nets through Seawastex technology, plus Fair Rubber-certified natural rubber, soybean oil, and rice husk ash silica.

They’re made at Vittoria’s CarbonNeutral-certified facility, claiming an average carbon footprint reduction of 35% compared to the standard Terreno tires, helping offset any environmental guilt you may have from driving to the ride’s start. Put it all together and you have a tire they call “Naturally Fast”.

The tire construction balances speed, durability, and environmental impact, and it comes exclusively in this natural brown tone.

“This is the future. And we’re laying down the track so everyone can ride toward it,” says Stijn Vriends, Chairman & CEO of Vittoria. “As a company, we want natural brown tires to become the norm in a few years, while the old-school black ones, with carbon black, start to look outdated.”

The new Vittoria Terreno PRO line comes in four models:

  • T10 – hardpack
  • T30 – Fine Loose
  • T50 – Mixed
  • T60 – Mixed

The higher the number, the more aggressive the tread. Here are all of the options and specs:

Vittoria says wider tire sizes will be available in the future, but for now you’ve got 35/40/45mm widths to choose from for each tread pattern. The chart above shows MSRP as $103.99, but they’re showing on Vittoria.com at $112.99 and as coming soon.

Great, the future is $150 bike tires. If they are $113 now, plus tax, then they will certainly be more in a few years. Brown tires are ugly on most all bikes, sorry. They have been black all these years for a reason.

Tires are black because carbon black makes tires much more durable and its cheap. “Maybe” they’ve solved that durability issue but it’s not like Vittoria is known for famously cheap tires.

I think the high price is down to tariffs. They are ±$70 here in the EU.

Well BRR was not impressed with the new terreno range based on rolling resistance, can’t see 5% swaying that

Love the move towards sustainability, especially on wear items like tyres.

Schwalbe has a recycling program for old tires and tubes for a while. Ask your local bike shop. Recycle ability alone isn’t the ticket most plastics are also recyclable but just get burned because it’s more financially viable.
