It’s that time of year again. The time where all of the best cyclocross racers in the country, as well as anyone with aspirations of being the best, gather for a showdown of epic CX proportions. This year, Hartford, CT was chosen as the venue and it’s already proven to be a bit… interesting with riding replaced with slip and slides. Then the course rapidly froze and got covered in snow making things even more challenging. At the time of writing this, we’re not sure what the conditions will be for the big race day, but it should make for some entertaining racing. Full day’s schedule below…

8:00a – course open for practice
9:00a – Juniors Men 17-18
10:00a – U23 women 17-22
11:00a – Elite women’s practice
11:30a – U23 men
Awards
12:45p – kids races 7-and-under
12:45p – Elite men’s practice
1:15p – Elite women
2:30p – 10 & under kids race
3:00p – Elite men
Awards

Love the coverage on youtube instead of some random channel that I still don’t get after paying $150/mo for cable.

Yep. Great coverage. I realize that USAC needs money, but I sure wish that had found a more reputable sponsor than VW.

“reputable” and pro cycling doesn’t walk hand in hand. Just be happy that someone threw their hat in the ring to make it happen.

They made a fair amount of money by closing off the park and charging $15 per person to get in.
