Wondering how to get more data from your indoor trainer workout? The newly updated Zwift Mobile Companion app gives you more control over your “in game” experience by letting you change trainer mode and resistance on the fly, and even pause your workout. It also displays your current workout block, along with power, heart rate and other data depending on which sensors you have connected. There’s also a dashboard for runners using a treadmill, and post-workout stats are aggregated to show you how you’re doing overall.

Castelli weatherproof Nano Flex+ arm & leg warmers

It might not sound like a big deal, but water-repellant warmers are the bees knees. Anytime we feel the need to protect our legs from the cold, there is probably road spray to deal with as well. Castelli has stitched their segment defining waterproof, breathable Nano Flex fabric into warmers for almost seven years now. But this season the lightweight arm, knee & leg warmers have gotten an upgrade.

The new Nano Flex+ warmers get design update for better rider coverage and bit more warmth. The new warmers get a new Nano Light fabric panel in the back to help them bend around knee & elbow while retaining water protection. Leg warmer sell for $70, knees and arms for $50.

The weatherproof flap-top bag cinches down the main top loading pocket to keep everything safe inside. A side-access padded laptop sleeve keeps electronics safe, and a couple of easy-access zip pockets keep your smaller items close at hand. The 130€ Urbn adds in reflective detailing, plenty of lashing points, and an external pouch for either a bottle or mini U-lock. Find it at: 8bar-bikes.com.

Rapha updated Pro Team-level light rain vest

Rapha has overhauled their popular Pro Team and Souplesse Lightweight Rain Gilets for improved lightweight wet weather protection. The new light vests feature a feather light, three-layer highly water-resistant shell fabric, a fully waterproof rear pocket and spray flap. And it still stuffs down smaller than ever to take up less than a full jersey pocket, so you won’t leave it at home. Both men’s Pro Team and women’s Souplesse versions are available from Rapha for $190/165€.

Really wish we could get Zwift to display power in zones and show lap average when doing a workout. I think when my workouts shoot over from Trainingpeaks they default to the middle wattage within a zone and there is a narrow window before it starts yelling at you. Personally for 3 minute + intervals I prefer to negative split at the lower segment of the zone and work upwards through the interval. All in all having the zones displayed as an option instead of watts would be a nice option.
