Bicycle parts manufacturer, Wheels Manufacturing (Wheels MFG) is ringing in the New Year. Literally. The company just acquired two established safety accessory brands, Mirrycle and Incredibell. Both companies will continue operating from Colorado while gaining the backing of Wheels Manufacturing’s production expertise and distribution network.

Mirrycle and Incredibell fit naturally into what we already do,” said Dave Smith, President of Wheels Manufacturing. “Both brands share our belief that small details make every ride better, whether that’s a perfectly aligned derailleur hanger or a clear ring from a bell that keeps everyone on the path safer.

In case you didn’t know, back in 1978, Mirrycle was founded by Barry Schacht and produced the now iconic Original Mirrycle Mirror. A few years later, in 1987, they launched the Incredibell line of bicycle bells.

These accessories will join Wheels Manufacturing’s existing catalog of precision components like derailleur hangers and other mechanical parts. The acquisition brings together complementary product lines under one roof. For bike shops and riders, this means simplified ordering and consistent quality across a broader range of products.

The brands will maintain their existing product designs and safety focus while exploring ways to adapt their accessories for modern bike styles and riding preferences.

With both acquired brands staying in Colorado and maintaining their established product lines, existing customers can expect continuity in the mirrors and bells they’ve relied on, now with the added manufacturing and distribution capabilities that come with being part of a larger component company.
