Minnesota’s meticulous machining maniacs, Wolf Tooth Components (WTC), have added their popular Raw Silver anodized color to their chainring collection. The chainrings are the perfect match to the existing Raw Silver components that are already available. And for those who live the matchy, matchy life on their steeds, they are also available in the WTC Color Shop as well.
The new Raw Silver color for the chairings will be launched in two waves. This first wave will be gravel/road sizes and mounts. The second being mountain sizes and mounts. There is no rhyme or reason for this. WTC says it was just based on what came off the machines first.
The sizes that were launched today are the gravel/road in 110BCD in both 38t and 42t. September 9th will be the launch of the mountain rings, in sizes: SRAM Direct Mount 3-bolt in 30t and 32t, SRAM Direct Mount 8-hole in 30t and 32t, plus 104 BCD in both 30t and 32t.
As demand increases, WTC says it will expand the offering. Also, according to WTC, they are even bringing back their stainless steel rings for next year. Stay tuned here for the latest WTC offerings.
Mountain Size Raw Silver
To complement the previously released Road and Gravel chainrings, WTC introduces Mountain sizes to the Raw Silver Collection. Again, as mentioned earlier, these chainrings are the first of more to come.
The first sizes to hit the site are as follows:
- SRAM Direct Mount 3-Bolt in 30 and 32T
- SRAM Direct Mount 8-Bolt in 30 and 32T
- 104 BCD in 30 and 32T
WTC will be expanding the mounts available as they see demand pick up. They’ve been listening to their customers, and just like the road and gravel, they will also be adding stainless steel chainrings to the mountain sizes at some point next year.
