Chang3 Everything is the new Formula for 2019 – For the new year Italian mountain bike brake pioneer & suspension maker Formula says they plan to shake up everything they’ve done so far. We’re not entirely sure what they mean by that cryptic new tagline, but after shaking up things internally a couple of years back with all new forks, we’re curious to see where this leads.

For now Formula put together this idealistic teaser and left us with quotes like this: “A change is not always an improvement, but we must change in order to improve.” The upcoming shift apparently started with asking their riders what they wanted to change. So that’s our only real clue as to what’s coming from Formula. “What do you want to change?”  RideFormula.com

Where to Ride

  •  Race the Snowball Special this February in Sun Valley, ID – Winter doesn’t mean it’s time to stop riding. In fact, it’s just a good excuse to break out some even fatter tires. Join Rebecca Rusch’s Rusch Ventures for the classic Snowball Special Fat Bike Race on Sat, Feb 23 at the Sun Valley Nordic Center. All riders are welcome on one of 3 course options: 20K, 40K & the 40K Duo Relay. More details & registration at: SnowballFatBike.com

  • Register now for the 24hrs of Finale next June 1-2 – Registration has just opened up for the 21st edition of the 24 hours of Finale. The 2019 event will run with a series of races from May 31 – Jun2 at Altopiano delle Manie, Finale Ligure on the coast of Italy. This year’s theme is Indiana Jones (I’m sure it is Lucas-approved) under the tagline of “Riders of the lost bikes”. One can only imagine what crazy treasure hunt will ensue. 24hfinale.com
