YT’s newest limited edition Uncaged 14 build decks out their latest Jeffsy carbon trail bike with a killer paint job, a drool-worthy build, the first availability of the coveted retro Jeffsy action figure. This Uncaged bike was the high-end setup YT founder Markus Flossmann wanted for himself – after starring as the 80s home shopping salesman hawking the new bike last fall. While some of the YT Uncaged bike builds go for affordable performance or one specific type of upgrade over their regular stock builds, this one kinda goes over the top with a full race-ready setup. Markus says it’s a bit of the same 80s inspiration that fueled the retro vibe of launch campaign for the 3rd generation do-it-all mountain bike.
So, start with a pretty basic slate blue frame that gets a sunset & lightning bolt headtube fade. Then, add in some sweet purple ano on top of the classy black & yellow Öhlins goodies. And of course, some shiny machined 5Dev cranks and silver bars for finishing touches.

Tech-wise, this is the same top-tier ultra-high modulus carbon all-mountain trail bike that I reviewed last autumn.

As for the action figure, Uncaged 14 buyers will be the first to get their hands on the custom-made Jeffsy toy wrestler. The 80s style plastic action figure features poseable arms and legs, with one giant oversized hand, and his signature springloaded Fist Bump of Friendship to defeat his enemies.
