We saw some prototypes of One Ghost’s Candy Components‘ new Flapjack flat pedals just before Interbike, and he had the final production versions on hand along with a complete, rainbow colored collection of components.

Walking around the show with a giant gun case, founder David Meredith pulled me aside to show off the goods, including their Bighead headset, top caps, seatpost binders, DH handlebars and pedals.

All parts polished and anodized for a deep long lasting finish. Five standard colors and one limited edition finish are offered:
– Green Apple
– Purple Grape
– Sweet Magenta
– Tangerine
– Cyan Blue
– Black Chrome with gold graphics (not shown, this special “Ghost” edition costs more but the extra money is donated to a charity like 88 bikes.org or the US humane society)

Check out the full specs, pricing and photos behind the jump…

The Candy DH-1 bar is 32″ wide and comes with either a 1″ or 2″ rise. MSRP is $79.99.

The Flapjack pedals come in at 490 grams/pair. The body is full CNC with replaceable pins, a concave foot bed that varies from 9mm-11mm thin, chromoly axle, two sealed cartridge bearings at the end with a bushing at the crank side of the axle. MSRP is $89.99.

While their 1.5 Bighead headsets look massive thanks to the 1.5″ cup, they come with 1-1/8″ races or 1.5 for taper steer, standard or 1.5 steer tube forks (1-1/8″ cup headsets coming) MSRP is $89.99.

The seat clamp is available in 34.9 OD currently, and more sizes are coming. Forged and machined, MSRP is $14.99.

Headsets are in stock now, and David is taking back orders and deposits for all other Candy components. He said all will be available to ship by mid January at the latest. They’re selling direct now, but looking for dealers. Lastly, David said some stems are in the works.

IMHO biggest mistake Chris King ever made was drop the 3D violet from their line of goodies… Nice to see One Ghost pick up the purp.

our first three production colors will be the green apple, cyan blue and tangerine dream unless we get a large enough pre-season order to make the purple and magenta.
