slimSummer is right around the corner. That means it will be time for mountain biking and bikini season – only this time we’re talking about Bikini Pink. That’s the name of the color Ergon has chosen for their limited edition products. Available in both their GE1, the new GE1 Slim, and SME3 Pro and Pro Carbon saddles, the color will certainly get you noticed. As with all limited editions, it won’t last long….

pinkUntitled-6Above, the new GE1 slim grip is positioned on top of the standard GE1 below. Clearly thicker in places, as far as we’re concerned the GE1 was the grip of 2014. Even as a lover of thin grips I wasn’t off put at the thickness of the GE1 but I’m very interested to try out the slimmer version as well. Like the original, the Slim is designed specifically for use on wide bars and features a built in aluminum clamp and bar end.

In addition to the pink, GE1 Slims are also available in the standard black, red, blue, white/grey, and black/green, all for $34.95.

If you’re going with the Bikini Pink grips you might as well make it a full set with the SME3 Pro saddle. To do so, you may have to find it at your local shop as the Ergon site is already sold out.

@Ergon Bike probably don’t make sense economically, but would love to get the GE1 in a grip shift version.

@California Condor, A gripshift version of the GE1 / GE1 Slim is not an option or in the plans….as this would put the alumn. locking clamp right in the middle of the rider hands.
