Be 50 Strong insulated water bottles are made in the USA and BPA free

Fifty Strong donates 10% of its profits to scholarship programs helping workers pursuing manufacturing careers, helping to maintain a made-in-America infrastructure. As such, its bottles are made in the USA of BPA-free polypropylene. The 24oz bottle is insulated with a soft bite valve and included color-matched (and removable) lanyard.

We received a couple in for test and found that they kept a drink cool for a reasonable amount of time. The bite valve lifts to open easily with a gentle tug from your teeth – much easier than some other bottles, and it’s very soft, too. Flow is adequate, though the bottle is somewhat stiff, giving a decent swig per squeeze but being hard to squeeze deeper for guzzling. The bite valve is removable for cleaning, too, and the whole thing claims to be top rack dishwasher safe. For $11.99, it’s a solid, affordable entry into the insulated water bottle market with plenty of graphic and color options beyond what’s shown here.

This is the type of product you’d expect to be made in a giant factory over seas. But to be made in the States, donate a portion of profits, and still keep a very decent price point… how could I not give one a try? Great work guys and gals!

Yes, made in the USA with a portion of the profits donated, on top of the luxury tax on seemingly every cycling product, I’m shocked these are only 12 bucks!

Problem is how can I rock the ‘murica bottle when I’m wearing my brilliant brilliant pink unicorn jersey and lime green socks? Isn’t that starting to become a little bit busy?
