As one does when your star sponsored rider is about to win another Grand Tour, Fausto Pinarello flew to Madrid on September 9th to deliver a special bike in person to Chris Froome for the final stage of La Vuelta a España 2017. The one-off Dogma F10 in the Spanish flag’s red and yellow was meant to congratulate Froomie for his double Tour-Vuelta 2017 wins, not coincidentally mixing the color of the leader’s jerseys of the two Grand Tours.

Apparently, Pinarello got a lot of positive feedback for the bike’s graphics, so they are adding it to the options for the F10 in 2018 as a limited edition to join the Tour winning yellow bike…

and a special F100 to celebrate 100 years of the Giro (even though Sky only got one rider in the top 20 at the Italian tour.)

The Dogma F10 King of Spain can be ordered as of today, with first customer deliveries heading out in late November 2017.

It is actually available in three versions,  one complete Froome replica with full Sky team logos and Froomie’s Rhino logo on the headtube…

one Team Sky version that drops the rhino…

and a replica that keeps only the red design with white detailing, instead of any yellow, Sky, or Froome accents.

The bike is the same asymmetric aero carbon F10 updated at the start of this year, with a max 25mm tire clearance. The special King of Spain edition is available as a frameset only in the full eleven size range from 44-62cm.

He’s winning prestigious races and you’re commenting on bikerumor, see the irony?

Not really. Never had the desire to be a pro bike racer. When my sports chiropractor started offering me PED’s as a Cat. III that pretty much reinforced what I already knew about what it takes to be pro. Weak attempt at a dig on your part.

Good one …because I’m not allowed to have an opinion about the most disgusting riding style since Fernando Escartin?

Seems I upset the Froomistas. Gross! Gotta take a shower now.
