Like all their products, when it comes to bags Velo Orange has to have a certain aesthetic. Part retro and part modern, the new VO Luggage line certainly checks that box. Rather than taking on the project by themselves, VO has teamed up with Road Runner Bags out of Los Angeles to create a new range of made in the USA bags for tourers, randonneurs, commuters, and cyclists in general.

Starting with the big bag of the bunch, the Randonneur Handlebar Bag features a cordura exterior with waterproof truck tarp liner that will make the bag very water resistant, but not quite water proof. You’ll also find a clear map pocket on the top, and molle straps on the sides and rear of the bag to outfit additional accessories like their Snapper Sack for cameras, and the Cell Phone Pocket. The Randonneur bag sells for $185.

The Cell Phone Pocket (left) and Snapper Sack (right), can be used for more than just phones or cameras, but are meant to attach to the outside of the handlebar bag. However, they can also be attached to other items like backpack straps, etc. Pricing is $30 and $45 respectively.

If you have one of the VO Porteur Racks (or other similar racks), the Transporteur is meant to fit right in. The non-structured roll top bag uses the same construction as the handlebar bag, but the roll top means it’s waterproof. The 29L bag weighs in at about 513g and sells for $125.

Finally, the VO Day Tripper saddle bag is a bit larger than the typical saddle bag and includes a nylon roll top inside the flap, storage for a mini pump, reflective accents, and more. The Day Tripper bag goes for $95.

All of the bags are available in burgundy, navy blue, teal, and black.
