Cyclocross worlds are under a week away, so it’s time once again for the pre-order of the best annual photo retrospective of the sport. Professional photographer Balint Hamvas is again sharing his insider look at cross from behind the lens. This year it’s a special edition looking back not just on the season that is coming to a close, but to how CX has evolved over the past decade.

Hamvas takes to Kickstarter at the start of each calendar year to fund his detailed photo retrospective of the past season of cyclocross (for the last three editions, at least).

This 9th annual edition is expected to be around 290 pages (as always, ad-free supported only by its readers) chronicling the best racers & venues from the Elite & World Cup CX circuit. It will include Hamvas’ best photos from the biggest European races, plus a selection of stories by cyclocross journalists.

But it has been 10 years since Hamvas found his passion shooting cyclocross, so this edition gets more of a looking back over the past decade, plus some prognosticating as to where cross is headed.
