Like the rest of the range, the Blue Sky rolls on Stan’s NoTubes Crest MK3 tubeless ready rims, built into an 1,150g wheelset that comes pre-taped and ready for tubeless setup. The Blue Sky also gets disc brakes, paired with Ashima’s ultralight rotors. Complete bikes start at $1,499 for a Shimano Deore build.

The new Maxwell 26 Plus picks up where the standard 120mm travel Maxwell 26 stops…with bigger tires. It’s able to fit a 26×3.0 tires (build kits spec WTB 26×2.8 tires, though), or jump up to 27.5×2.25 for something a little faster.

Frame kits are available if you want to add your own drivetrain parts, but complete bikes with Shimano Deore start at $2,899.

Hiding in plain site on this Maxwell 24 was a new Rockshox Reba 26″ fork, which suggests Rockshox is at least toying with the idea of offering an upgraded 26″ fork beyond the Judy. With so many kids bikes getting more and more rad, and more kids doing rad things on them, this would be a welcome addition to the lineup. This particular fork had no damping control options on the top, and Trailcrafts’ reps weren’t letting anyone take it out for a spin.

  1. A great alternative to the big brands HEAVY bikes and starting to see lots on the trails here in California. Legit adult level bikes miniaturized to kid size with great spec. Love the pink Crest MK3’s on that 20″!
