If your bike is equipped with a Sytace X-12 axle system, there’s good news – if you’re also looking for a replacement axle. Adding to their current options for replacement axles, Wolf Tooth Components has just announced two new axles that are specifically designed for the X-12 system.

That means that they include a conical washer at the end which is necessary for them to fit into X-12 frames like those from Specialized, Cannondale, Intense, 3T, Canyon, and more. They are also compatible with the WTC end caps which may add some frame protection in the event of a crash, plus they’re compatible with their trainer end caps so you can put your bike on the trainer using the same axle.

The two versions are meant for standard 12 x 142mm frames or Boost 12 x 148mm frames. Made in the U.S. from 7075-T6 aluminum with a stainless steel conical washer, the axles have a claimed weight of 42/43g and sell for $39.95 each.
