32″ compatible Old Man Mountain Divide & Elkhorn 32 racks
Since racks have to have ample clearance to secure your gear above the wheels, going from 700c/29″ wheels up to the rapidly approaching 32″ wheels means you’re gonna need more clearance. If you already have a current Old Man Mountain Divide rack, there’s nothing to worry about.
OMM confirms that the existing Divide’s adjustable lower struts already provide plenty of height adjustability to work with 32” wheels.
But, if you were looking at their lighter Elkhorn rack, which doesn’t have the same strut adjustability, you’re gonna need a longer rack. No worries here either. The Elkhorn already came in Short (27.5″ & 700c up to 50mm) & Tall (up to 29″+). Now it adds a third extra-long size, dubbed simply 32.

Both racks are designed for eyelet mounting front or rear, direct QR, or direct thru-axle mounting with Old Man Mountain’s special thru-axles & Fit Kits. And both can even be mounted to road, gravel & mountain bikes, even to suspension forks or the back of full-suspension bikes with the appropriate Fit Kit.
