Silca’s new Avventura Americana seat roll adds a new limited edition to their roll-up saddle bag family with improved storage for adventure riding. Built with the same Boa dial attachment to the bike and classic tool roll layout, the new Avventura features easier to use organization pockets inside and more secure closure for all-weather, off-road riding.
Silca Avventura Americana seat roll Boa-secured saddle pack
Silca’s big Grande Americano saddle bag tool roll already packed in plenty of storage capacity (I use that one to carry a spare all-road tubular tire, plus tools) and secure Boa mounting. But Silca continually takes in feedback from both their own testers & consumers, and realized they could refine the Americana to better meet real rider needs. So, they addressed the key points and have created this limited edition version – the Avventura Americana.
What’s new with the Avventura Americana?
First off, the Avventura gets lighter weight body fabric to make it easier to roll up tightly, whether almost empty or full to the gills. The new external fabric is an olive drab 400D woven packcloth with water repellent coating, then it’s lined with a bright yellow gold 200D that makes it easier to find what’s packed inside.
Overall roll shape & pocket layout gets updated too. Now the Avventura gets an asymmetric fold down flap for better coverage when the pack is full, plus a 4-pocket layout with narrow slots to keep a CO2 & levers organized and away from your spare tube. The center pocket is sized to fit one tube up to 700cx50mm aka 29×2.0″
