Great memories from the mid-90’s when I’d ride the canyons west of the 405 from my apartment to the ridge and back, watching the Getty Center being built. There was a stretch we called the “Mile o’ Berms” at the top of Mandeville (?) Canyon. Unfortunately for us, this was during the NORBA race bike era, and none of us XC riders would dare use a Hite Rite or lower our saddles for it
