San Diego, California’s 5DEV wins the race for the first aftermarket upgrade to the recently launched SRAM Red AXS E1 group.

Their new 6A14V Titanium pulley wheels are CNC machined, stuffed with Enduro ceramic bearings, and finished with precision machined dust covers for exact spacing and fitment.

They say this extra level of detail provides crisper, more precise shifting, plus free spinning performance from the upgraded bearings.

The upper pulley has 12 teeth (10g) and the lower gets 14 teeth (15g). That’s the same tooth count as stock, with a total weight for the set of 25g. I haven’t weighed the stock pulleys, so…maybe lighter? MSRP is $499.99, shown above with their $1,200 titanium road/gravel/xc crankset.

These join their existing pulley wheels for for SRAM and Shimano MTB derailleurs, and you can look for new options for Dura-Ace, Ultegra, GRX and XPLR road/gravel derailleurs in the coming weeks.

Is it just me or did they shamelessly rip off the design of the ceramic speed printed pulleys?

Actually, CeramicSpeed OSPW RS, OSPW, and OSPW Aero ALPHA are all compatible with the new RED. No change in fitment needed.
