After recently introducing several new popular enduro and downhill oriented helmets, Bell is looking to capitalize on that success by launching a new road helmet.
While there is no official word from the company, they did release this sneak peek on Instagram, which offers some hints at the new technology lurking behind the candy colored lids…
In a stark departure from the design language of Bell and Giro’s existing high end road products, this unnamed helmet has an usually shaped and placed vents.
A closer look at the sculpted vents reveals a black mesh, which may partially explain the unique design….
Which utilizes a material that is starkly reminiscent of the Koroyd “straws” found in Smith’s new Forefront Helmet. 
We reached out to Bell, and they declined to comment on the video or helmet, but you can expect an official launch late this summer.
