The Women’s Mountain Apparel Brand, Wild Rye – a women-founded, women-led, women-specific mountain bike, snow sports, and outdoor apparel company – is dropping its new Spring ‘22 Collection.
“Created to inspire confidence and get more women-identifying adventurers outside,” Wild Rye is known for aesthetically pleasing, technical, and inclusive gear and apparel. The Spring ‘22 Collection offers new styles, colorways, and a versatile, lifestyle-friendly approach to technical clothing. Each season’s colorways are hand-drawn by Wild-Rye’s in-house designer (also a woman – high-five!).
The new kits converge comfort, function, and style with performance-oriented materials. In my experience, women know women’s bodies and what works well for us. So the fact that Wild Rye has women designers is a huge tipping point for me in selecting their kit over other options.
Wild Rye’s spring ‘22 collection designs are as unique, beautiful, and as progressive as the women behind the brand. “In this particular upcoming season, it has to do with a desire to travel and adventure,” said CEO and founder Cassie Abel. “Being that we designed this collection back in 2020 and I was incidentally housebound with a very small baby in the middle of a pandemic, this collection was driven by our team’s wanderlust mindset and ultimately led to a ‘stray from the beaten path’ – inspired the Spring collection combined with how we were coping with quarantine; house plants and road trips!”

Wild Rye Freyah MTB Pant
This new 3-season mountain bike pant, the Freyah MTB Pant, is incredibly versatile, packed with breathability, durability, and style. The Salida SS is the evolution of their Sandia LS jersey but offers a more relaxed fit for a wider range of outdoor adventures. A new merino blend fabric covers the front of the jersey, while the back features breathable mesh paneling. Wild Rye Galena Gel gloves
