When it comes to gravel and adventure riding, for Diamondback, look to the Haanjo. Launched in 2016 as a carbon adventure bike with bar end shifters and monster tires, the line has been continuously evolving. Now, Diamondback is offering the Haanjo in eight different configurations, with three carbon and five aluminum frames. Depending on your needs, it looks like there may just be a Haanjo for everyone.
Haanjo 8C Carbon
The highest end Haanjo is also the newest option. The Haanjo 8C is a full carbon adventure bike with a carbon fork. Equipped with 700c x 37mm WTB Riddler tires on Easton EC70AX carbon wheels, this model also rolls with a 2×11 Shimano GRX 810 drivetrain. The frame itself features a 69°-72° head tube angle depending on the size, and is offered in four sizes from 50-59cm. In this top level trim, the bike will sell for $4,400.

Haanjo 7C Carbon
For those wanting to stick with the carbon frame and 2x drivetrain, the Haanjo 7C Carbon drops the price with aluminum HED Tomcat wheels, and a 2×11 Shimano GRX 600 drivetrain with a Praxxis M30 crank. This bike uses the same frame as the 8C, just with a different build for $2,800.
Haanjo 6C Carbon
For even fewer dollars, the Haanjo 6C takes that same carbon frame and uses a SRAM Rival1 1×11 mechanical drivetrain to get the price to just $2,400. This models also moves to 650b x 47mm WTB Venture Road Plus tires and matching HED Tomcat wheels.

Haanjo 5
Next, we have the Haanjo aluminum line which are the truly affordable models with a 6061 aluminum alloy frame and carbon fork with 12mm thru axles. The geometry is slightly different, but similar with a 70-72° head tube angle depending on the size, and now five different sizes from 47-60cm.
The Haanjo 5 offers a 2×11 Shimano GRX 600 drivetrain with hydraulic disc brakes, 700c x 37mm WTB Riddler tires on HED Tomcat wheels, but with a price tag of $1,800.
Haanjo 4
The Haanjo 4 is a similar bike, but with a 2×10 Shimano Tiagra/GRX drivetrain and with mechanical disc brakes instead of hydraulic. This drops the price down to $1,400 with the same aluminum frame, carbon fork, and 700c x 37mm tires.
Haanjo 3
The Haanjo 3 is more affordable still with a 2×9 Shimano Sora drivetrain with FSA Omega Adventure cranks, mechanical disc brakes, and a drop down to Diamondback Equation CX rims. At this level, the Haanjo makes a jump to quick release at both ends and moves to an aluminum fork, but the price also dips to $1,100.
Haanjo 2
As the least expensive Haanjo dropbar build, the Haanjo 2 uses a Shimano Claris 2×8 drivetrain with unmarked alloy compact Cross cranks, and mechanical disc brakes. The 2 also looks to be more commuter focused with Diamondback Interval wire bead tires in 700c x 38mm with a slick tread pattern. This bike also has a slightly different fork in the DB Steel Gravel Disc that offers fender and Low Rider mounts like the rest. You can pick up the Haanjo 2 for just $875.
Haanjo 1
Last, and least (in terms of pricing), the Haanjo 1 is a commuter focused build with a flatbar setup. The 1×9 Shimano Acera drivetrain includes a crankset with an alloy chainguard and Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes. Using the same frame and fork as the Haanjo 2, the 1 is priced at $750.
