Birzman’s Studio Toolbox Plus Edition upgrades the standard (but still mighty impressive) Studio Toolbox. It contains 37 tools (list below), with key upgrades on high torque and cutting items so they’ll last longer.

Plus Edition wrenches (pedal wrench, chain whip, etc.) are heat treated hardened steel, as are the pliers and wire cutters.

Retail is $500, and you can see all of the tools in the top pic. Full kit on the left, wrenches are in the tray sitting on the right (on top of the Essential kit).

The Essential kit comes in at $178 and is designed to have the basic stuff any home mechanic needs:

Beautiful toolkits, I understand they need to look good, but I can never justify buying one because I already have some of the tools, the kit is always missing something (where is the cone wrench?) and I don’t need other tools in there, and then the case doesn’t have space for anything else, so you need to bring out another toolbox…

Bikerumor, why do you have 3 headliner stories on the homepage, then list the same 3 stories directly below them ???

Tim, that’s only on mobile at the moment…it’s a quirk with the new site layout and we’re working on that. We literally took the new site live then headed to Eurobike, so there’s a few bugs to fix when we get back in the office. Thanks for reading!

Looking at the new site from a PC is not exactly pleasant either. Huge ads spliced in the middle of the vertical feed, the constant moving top story thing. It’s actually pretty easy to completely miss new content on this layout because of how messy it is.
