For 2019, Scott has added a top “RC” level option to the women’s Addict road race bike family, giving everyone the option to race on their lightest carbon layup. Compared to the standard Addict frames, the RC models also get revised geometry that prioritizes sharp handling over endurance comfort.
The Addict RC frames have a claimed weight of just 790g, and 300g for the full carbon fork. This bike will get Shimano Ultegra Di2 with hydraulic disc brakes.
Spec will otherwise be heavy on sister brand Syncros’ parts, along with the new Schwalbe One gum wall tires.
This includes the Savona women’s saddle, and a mostly alloy cockpit, leaving room for upgrades down the road. MSRP is TBA, but it should be available by end of year…in Europe. Unfortunately, this model isn’t planning on coming to North America.
