The Carmichael Training Systems International Classic is now a UCI-sanctioned stage race with Time Trial, Cross Country and Short Track events.

The change in structure gives pro men and women each a shot at 655 UCI points, which, according to race director Andy Bohlmann is almost half of all points available from U.S. races in 2010.  Besides all those points, pro men and women series winners will automatically qualify for the 2010 USA Cycling World Championship Team as well as earning qualification points toward the 2012 Olympic squad and entry into the National Championships July 15-18 in Granby, CO.

The CTS International Classic will be held July 9 – 11 at Cheyenne Mountain State Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  More info here.
