Hammerhead just announced the addition of a Native Extension Library on Karoo. The new library will allow Karoo computer users to customize their computers further with third-party apps, improving the connected rider experience. The Extention Library enables the rider to install third-party apps, directly from the bike computer.

Apps Now Available
As of March 6th, 2025, the following applications are now available on Hammerhead devices.
- Epic Ride Weather
This app provides weather forecasts that can be personalized by taking into account your speed and location. It combines multiple forecasts and gives the rider a precise projection of the weather for the duration of the ride.

Using real-time aerodynamic sensors, this app helps cyclists and triathletes reach their ultimate performance potential.
- hDrop Hydration
hDrop provides real-time sweat monitoring and delivers instant data on sweat loss, rate, and electrolyte levels.
- HR2VP by BIPR
HR2VP is a cycling app that estimates power based on heart rate and sends the info to your computer.
- myWindsock
This app will provide helpful and insightful weather data to the sporting community using signature Iconic Wind Lines
- VinApp
VinApp and Vin-HKE offer a load of solutions for the Karoo. From custom alerts to color data fields and workouts.

Extension Library Details
The Extension Library is easily accessed from the launcher page on your Karoo. Just open the Extensions folder to select an app you want to install. When updates are made available for the app, the user can go back to the app details page in the Extension Library and update the app. W
Hammerhead will be releasing additional accessibility updates in the coming months with the addition of more third-party apps.
