Hayes’ new Stroker Dyno is an entry level hydraulic brake that will retail for under $100 per wheel.

Weight is 400g per pair and come with branded Vesrah high performance pads, a nice touch for brakes that are likely to get spec’d on sub $900 bikes. Oh, and they have a lifetime leakproof warranty.

Rotors will be available in all sizes 140 thru 203mm.

Two models will be available, Comp with reach adjust and Sport without. Color options are white/black and full black.

The Dyno in white. Reach adjust is handled by a small Allen bolt on the lever’s face, near the pivot, which keeps it pretty clean looking.

These are coming stock on some of the Trek/GF bikes I’ve been seeing at my shop. Seems to be a decent brake so far.

Sorry but the wound is still unhealed from the SO1E and ElCamino oh and hang on, the Stroker brakes too. How many chances does one company get to make it right?
