If you’ve been waiting for the next wheel size, this is it – the 65b by way of Cycle Dog. The K9 specific design is compatible with disc brakes and it tubeless ready. It’s also a Frisbee. Poking a little fun at the wheel size war, Cycle Dog’s latest model in their Ecolast Toy range is sure to make your furry friend happy. Called the Flat Tire Flyer, the toy is made from post consumer recycled material including old inner tubes with assurance that they are non-toxic and fairly durable.

To go along with the toys (and collars and leashes made from tubes), Cycle Dog is getting into the treat business as well.

Available in 3-Play animal shapes, High Roller balls, and now the Ecolast Flat Tire Flyer, prices are pretty reasonable with the Flyer selling for $14.00.

Always eager to product test Cycle Dog kit, Joey dog has had a High Roller ball for a year now and a few weeks with the Flat Tire Flyer. Needless to say he loves both, and neither shows any signs of wear. For a German/Australian Shepherd mix that can destroy a #10 Tuffy at will, the Cycle Dog toys are holding up quite well.

Cycle Dog has always been about what’s best for the environment and what’s best for your dog and it looks like their new treats are no different. Made from a single ingredient, the Trail Buddy Treats are either 100% lamb, chicken, or beef. Made from human-grade ingredients at a USDA certified facility in the USA, the all natural, grain free treats are made without preservatives. Treats are sold in 2oz bags for $8.00, or an 8 bag case for $64.00.

I think it’s much too soon to be making New Wheel Size jokes.

We’re all still scratching our heads at 650b, wondering, “What problem did it solve again?”

I’m still scratching my head at people complaining about wheel sizes. Just don’t buy it if you don’t want it. Bicycles, motorcycles and everything on four wheels have been made with multiple wheel sizes for decades. Check out Wikipedia for “what came before”. It’s just live and let live, guys…

Interesting ideas here. We had one of their leashes for awhile with our German Shepherd. Little 60 lbs. shepherd pulls hard enough to dislocate a shoulder. Leash was quite comfortable and durable, until she decided to test it with her jaws. Saved the bottle opener and clasp from the leash and got a local awning repair company to build a new, stronger, leash out of climbing webbing. Would be interested to see just how durable these toys are, our Shepherd regularly murders kong toys.
