INTERBIKE 2009 – Quarq has been busy putting together powermeter rings for lots of crankset brands, with models for the following manufacturers coming out within the next two months:
- Rotor Agilis 3G
- Rotor 3D
- SRAM S975
- Cannondale Hollowgram SI / SL
- Lightning Carbon
- TA Specialties Carmina
All of these are pictured above or after the break, along with a prototype Collector data retrieval “black box” for cyclists that don’t want or use a big cycling computer on their bike (think track cyclists) but still want to collect power data.
This is an existing model for the Bontrager Race X-Lite.  It also fits the Truvativ Rouleur and SRAM S900.  Here’s the new stuff:
SRAM S975 is coming soon…and we have some more deets on that coming up in another SRAM post from the outdoor demo.  The FSA one is already available.  All power meters have an MSRP of $1,495.
The other news is that all of them are ANT+ compatible and will work with a wide array of computers, including:
- Garmin Edge 500 and 705
- Garmin Forerunner 310XT
- Specialized Speezone Pro
- CycleOps Joule
- Velocomp iAero
Here’s their top secret Qollector black box.  Simply attach it to your frame with some zip ties, then pull out and plug in via USB to download your data.  If you really want to go stealth, just stick it in your jersey pocket.  No release date or MSRP yet on this.
