North Carolina’s employee-owned Kitsbow Cycling Apparel announces a new retail store that will exist within their existing Direct-to-Consumer store. The new Kitsbow Experienced Apparel Store will provide current Kitsbow customers a place to list and sell their Kitsbow gear.

Kitsbow Cycling Apparel is “Purposely Designed Apparel” made locally in Old Fort North Carolina. Their popular Icon Flannel is known for its longevity.

The benefit of shopping at the Kitsbow Experienced Apparel Store is that it allows people to buy secondhand Kitsbow gear at a more affordable price point. Admittedly, “experienced” is a more eloquent way of saying used.

Kitsbow is known for its Icon Flannel shirt and for making high-quality goods that last for years. Kitsbow’s David Billstrom said, “Everyone at Kitsbow and all of our customers know that our gear lasts for years, is designed with the best, most durable fabrics, and is constructed to survive all kinds of rough conditions.” He continued, “with the new Experienced Apparel store, now anyone can buy or sell our durable apparel to each other, which keeps the gear in service of adventure and enjoying the outdoors – and keeps it out of the landfill“.

Customers who shop the collection of peer-to-peer secondhand apparel are told that they are buying from “verified sellers from across the country”. Those that purchased the secondhand items have an opportunity to verify the items upon receiving them, to “ensure the quality is as advertised”.

The Kitsbow Experienced Apparel Store looks to be pretty simple to use for either buyer or seller. For use of the service, the seller will be paying a fee that equals 10% of the sale price. On the flip side, Kitabow is offering the sellers an option to receive 110% of their sale price as a store credit in the regular Kitsbow online store.

When you go through the Kitsbow Experienced Apparel Store’s inventory you will see some stock Kitsbow images of the new item for sale and then some images of the actual piece for sale labeled “Seller Image”.

I have to say some of the prices look to be very reasonable.
