Kona Bikes has updated its El Kahuna e-MTB. The brand has repositioned the versatile eBike as a do-it-all hardtail for eBike riders who want the assist without sacrificing the versatility. The new go-anywhere, do-anything El Kahuna has been upgraded to run on a Bosch Performance Line motor.

The internal 625Wh battery sits inside the frame to keep the overall look clean and streamlined. A 100mm RockShox Recon Gold RL fork and 29″ wheels give it enough capability to handle gravel, campground access roads, and daily commutes without feeling out of place on any of them.
Let’s check ‘er out.
El Kahuna

Kona has loaded the El Kahuna with features that make it genuinely usable day-to-day. Kona sends these out with full wrap fenders, a rear rack, Lezyne front and rear lights, a kickstand, and even an Abus battery lock. I mean, this is the kind of stuff you’d usually have to add yourself.

Plus, the El Kahuna comes equipped with Tektro Gemini hydraulic disc brakes (4-piston front, 2-piston rear). As well as Schwalbe G-One Allround tires.
The El Kahuna sports a solid spec list with a tasty lean toward reliability and real-world use. Also, the El Kahuna comes with a TranzX dropper post, which adds some trail flexibility when the terrain gets more interesting – or simply makes it easier to start, stop, and get on/off the bike. Really, every ebike should have one.

The new Kona El Kahuna would be a solid pick for riders who are looking for a bike that handles it all. From camping trips to grocery runs, and everything in between. Check out more details at the link below.
