On top of the new DH flat pedals, Specialized had this limited edition (as in only 250 worldwide) Troy Lee Designs Demo 8 downhill bike on display. It’ll start shipping at the end of September, and word is dealers can start placing orders at the beginning of that month…possibly sooner. If you wants, get a call in to your local Specialized shop and plunk down the deposit. Pricing will be the same as their regular Demo 8 frameset (frame, shock), which is how this’ll come.

The Specialized logo has a pretty good 3D effect in person.
Note the World Cup colors on the rear linkage striping, a nod to this bike’s racing heritage.
