San Francisco’s own Mission Workshop has launched their new Range Jersey in both women’s and men’s sizes, adding to their Italian-made ACRE line. The Range is designed in California and made in Italy. It was designed to pull double duty as a jersey and jacket.
The Range is meant as a 3 season garment, being a hybrid of both a jersey and a jacket, it can be worn by itself during the Spring or Fall and add it to layers while riding during the colder times of the year.
Mission Workshop says the prime operating range of the…er, Range is ideally around 40-60F (4-16C) on the colder days adding layers or a shell. Donning a microfleece neck liner will help when things start to get drafty.
The Range comes with three additional top-loading pockets and a cool zippered pocket, you know… for the really coveted snacks…or for your wallet or phone.
It is constructed with high-stretch Italian fabrics that make breathability and mobility a priority. It has a bulk-minimizing, laser-cut hem that helps when layering.
When riding in bad weather, the wind-blocking and water-repellant front panels will help keep the elements out. When the rides get really wet, the Range pairs well with a lightweight shell like, say, the Altosphere keeping you dry and toasty.
