Mopar Jeep Gladiator overland concept vehicle is a backcountry MTB dream truck

Built to showcase Mopar’s factory-authorized accessories and upgrades, this “Top Dog” Jeep Gladiator concept uses a mix of aftermarket and Jeep parts. The goal? Turn the four door truck into an extreme offroad vehicle for mountain bikers.

Built on Jeep’s truck platform, the bed is replaced with a custom PCOR flatbed tray and full-length canopy storage system. But that’s only the beginning…

The canopy provides a spot for the roof trays, and ample storage:

The passenger side has a power management system and switches for the external lights. On the other side is a fridge and slide-out grill, perfect for post-ride hangouts. Behind that is a larger open area for gear, wheels, pump, etc.

Sliding drawers and hidden doors add more storage without wasting any space. Perfect place for the folding ladder used to get the bikes onto the roof.

Ground clearance is improved with a JPP two-inch lift kit, FOX shocks, and 17-inch JPP beadlock-capable aluminum wheels with 37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires. Concept steel “high-top” fender flares give them a little more breathing room.

Inside is a custom painted dash panel to match the exterior’s “K-9 Blue”, with matching blue stitching offsetting the black Katzkin leather seats, armrests, shifter boots, steering wheel and the parking brake handle.

Mopar stainless-steel pedal covers with black rubber pads and Mopar all-weather floor mats put the finishing touches on the cabin.

How much would this vehicle cost?

Our back of the napkin math suggests it’s easily north of $80k. Base price for a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon (Overland 4×4 model) sits around $40k, and the PCOR tray plus canopy adds about $25k. Figure a couple grand each for lift kit+shocks, wheels+tires, bumper+rock guards, and the winches, and you can see how it adds up quickly. Very quickly.
