If you’re not into auto detailling, you may not know that the hot new thing in car waxes is Silicone-Ceramic blends. Now we’re getting the same tech for bikes.

The new Muc-Off (Si) Ceramic Protection kit is a wipe-on formula that prevents water and mud from sticking to your bike. They say it also protects against UV damage and micro scratches, keeping your paint safer, too.

The kit includes a surface preparation spray (50ml), the ceramic coating (15ml), a microfiber application pad, and microfiber polishing clothes. It’s suitable for both glossy and matte finishes, and works on carbon fiber, paint, and metal. They say it’s even fine to use on components, plastic trim, and vinyl, making it great for motos, too.

It creates a hard, hydrophobic surface over your frame, so water, mud, dirt, and even dust have a hard time sticking to it. They say it’s very durable, lasting up to two years. And it holds up to repeated washings and various common cleaning chemicals.

There’s the sizzle reel, here’s how to apply it:

The kit retails for at £55.00 / €65.00 / $69.99. US availability starts shipping December 12, preorder now.
